Projects and Community Partnership Activities

'Let's Challenge Technical Arts' Special Project for Community Open Campus As one of Special Project for Community Open Campus, we organize 'Let's Challenge Technical Arts' seminars. It is designed to elicit interests in scientific technologies in hands-on experience by
producing something related to technology. As a general rule, participants are parents and children working together, as another point of the project is that participants discover the enjoyment of parents and children studying together. The project has been offered once or twice a year since 2001.

Science Partnership Project

Since 2002, we have been taking part in the Science Partnership Project, which is a part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's 'We Love Scientific Technologies and Science'. We have been chosen as the 'Scientific Technology and Science Study Program' in 2002, and 'Teacher Training Course' in 2003.

Internship Project

Since 2000, we have been taking part in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's special fund for students 'Internship Promotion Fund' Project. We regard hands-on experience in the workplace, not only the classroom environment, as a part of curriculum, constituting an invaluable opportunity for students.

Brush Up Education for Adults Promotion Project

We carried out Brush Up On Education for Adults Promotion Project designed for elementary school and junior high school teachers and funded by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's University Reformation Promotion Fund. This project aims at developing new teaching materials and furthering practical teaching ability taking into consideration cyclical societal changes.
